On the last weekend of the current European Le Mans Series season, the LMPH2G run by H24Racing will demonstrate its progress by joining the Michelin Le Mans Cup competitors during their two sixty-minute free practice sessions at 11:30 on Friday 25 and 10:20 on Saturday 26 October. Refuels will be carried out at the hydrogen filling station newly designed by Total especially for racing.
In the hands of Norman Nato and Olivier Lombard, the LMPH2G will be adding the sixteen turns of the 4.684-km circuit to its track experience.
The world’s first high power hydrogen-electric prototype is progressing on its journey as planned. Having set out at Spa-Francorchamps, the next stage is another two free practice sessions on a different circuit, offering the team an opportunity to practice and continue developing the car using the sessions to test traffic management, settings adjustment and general race-like conditions, including refuelling at the special hydrogen station. The magnitude of the task matches the scope of the innovation. MissionH24 continues to clock up experience and gauge its advancement as it gradually introduces the world to the new face of mobility.
