Tickets for the Le Mans 24 Hours 2019 on sale from 16th october

Interviewed by Guillaume Crunelle (Deloitte), Mr Fillon reiterated the ACO’s contribution to safe motoring and the club’s commitment to the development of technologies tested at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and used in today’s production models.

He went on to recall the strategic points of the regulations that will come into force for the 2020-21 season, closing a cycle that saw hybrid engines introduced to endurance in 2011.

The premier class will be geared towards hypercars which, while continuing to be powered by a hybrid system, will be much more affordable to manufacturers and privateers alike. Looking further ahead to 2024, he evoked MissionH24, an exciting new project that aims to see hydrogen-fuelled prototypes racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Returning to the immediate future, tickets for the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans – to be held on 15-16 June 2019 – will go on sale to ACO Members on 16 October, and to the general public three days later.

At the Paris Motor Show, the ACO has once again demonstrated its commitment to motorsport and to motoring in general.
