For fans coming to the 90th staging of the world’s greatest endurance race, the ACO has made a few changes to improve safety and the overall experience at the circuit.

Getting to the circuit

• The full circuit (meaning closure of local roads) will be in place:
  - On Sunday 5 June, from 03:30 to 19:30
  - From Wednesday 8 June at 03:30 to Sunday 12 June at 17:30

• The RD92 road will be open for access to the ZAC du Cormier area as follows:
  - Wednesday 8 June: 09:00–19:00
  - Thursday 9 June: 09:00–18:00
  - Friday 10 June: 09:00–19:00

Circuit entrances

• From Sunday 5 June, the North gate to the circuit (by the 24 Hours Museum) will be accessible to pedestrians only. This will make the event safer and more enjoyable for spectators.

• The Tertre Rouge gate will only be open to vehicles. Pedestrians are therefore requested to head to the East gate, either on the tram or on foot (see map below) for a new spectator experience, more news on which will be announced in the next few days.

Car parking

• The free Bleu and Raineries (aerodrome) car parks will be open from Wednesday morning, 8 June.

• People with reduced mobility may park at the Chinetti car park where they will benefit from assistance from the LADAPT association. This car park is located close to the circuit’s North gate and is part of the ACO’s commitment to improving conditions for spectators with reduced mobility.

• Parking passes will cover both Test Day and Race Week. There is no special pass for Test Day.

The ACO is very much looking forward to welcoming a full crowd once again, from Test Day on Sunday 5 June and throughout Race Week.

Open Track!

On Friday 10 June 2022, on the eve of the 90th 24 Hours of Le Mans, there will be a brand-new event for fans and locals, when they will have the chance to explore the track that hosts the iconic race. Holders of a General Enclosure ticket will be able to enjoy an array of activities and visit the garages, while other key spots around the circuit (from Tertre Rouge to the Porsche Curves) will open free of charge to anyone using an eco-friendly form of transport, such as walking, cycling, a kick scooter or rollerskates.

From 14:30 to 19:30, spectators will be able to walk around one of the world’s most iconic circuits and enjoy access to the car show organised by the Virage de Mulsanne association.
