After Jamiroquai and Texas in 2018, the 87th edition of the French 24-hour endurance classic bills three household names to keep pace with the track action at the world-famous race.

At 20:00 on Wednesday 12 June, French pop-folk duo Diva Faune provides the musical interlude at the practice sessions. Inimitable eighties band Cock Robin takes the next slot at 20:00 on Thursday 13 June as excitement builds towards the weekend. At 20:00 on 15 June, during the race itself, Scottish indie band Franz Ferdinand touring with their fifth album Always Ascending, will be doing their best to stop the traffic!

They join Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire, Charlie Winston, Julian Perretta, Amir, Arcadian, Shaka Ponk, Razorlight, Gérarld de Palmas, The Celtic Social Club and Alpha Blondy in a long list of bands to have played live at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
