Pierre Leseur was appointed administrator of the ACO in 1970, and member of the Steering Committee in 1986. He was then Deputy President from 1994 to 2008, and since May 2008, Honorary Deputy President.

He was greatly appreciated by everybody and was part of the ACO family.  He made a big contribution to writing the history of Le Mans and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest. 

In the name of all the members and ACO personnel, Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, would like to pay tribute to the memory of this great enthusiast, and sends his deepest condolences to Pierre Leseur’s family and next of kin.
