How to keep track at the 24 Hours!

The flag will go down to start the 86th 24 Hours of Le Mans exactly two weeks from today. The ACO and WEC have come up with a number of ways to keep you informed of what’s happening on and off the track.

For the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 16–17 June, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and the WEC are providing a range of services to keep journalists attending the race or working from their own office abreast of events at the circuit.

This year, there will be a ten-minute press conference every hour in the press conference room on the third floor. It will be open to all journalists. At quarter past every hour from 15:15, a driver, engineer or a team boss will be there to answer questions from the media. The conference will be filmed and released for the media. The name of the personalities facing the press will be announced on the notice board in the media centre. Journalists will therefore have the opportunity to question many of the figures involved in the famous race, in more comfortable surroundings than the pit lane.

At half past every hour from 15:30, a TV programme analysing particular aspects of the race and reviewing race incidents will be broadcast alternately in French and in English, on the 24 Hours YouTube channel. The programme will be an interactive affair as race fans will be able to send in their own questions.
