24 Heures Motos 8 days to go!  All you need to know to attend the big motorbike festival

To avoid having to queue at the circuit turnstiles you are advised to buy your ticket for the 24 Heures Motos in advance. 
The price of the general enclosure ticket is 68 €. It’s valid for the four-day festival from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th April and as a free bonus you can enjoy:

  • Guarded park for motorbikes and helmet lockers in the Exhibition centre,
  • Access to the many grandstands (except 19 and 14 – supplement 25 € - and 17 and 18 reserved for ACO members),
  • Access to all the natural terraces and banks around the circuit,
  • Access to the Blue and Red welcome zones for cars and bikes (depending on the number of places available and respect of the safety measures), 
  • The pit discovery visit and the new mechanical show on Friday evening, 
  • Saturday evening concerts in the village (Matmath, Dirty Deep and DJ),
  • Access to the paddock on practice evenings
  • The fun fair (merry-go-rounds payable), the historic exhibition Japanese at Le Mans, the many activities and the new Fan Zone in the village
  • The Welcome terrace with a view on the track, bar and entertainment,
  • Double frequency walkman in partnership with RTL2 and Motul to follow the race on 91.5 or listen to RTL2 on 96.4 (depending on availability of stocks).

You can also live Le Mans à la carte. The prices range from 25 (one-day test) to 200 € (paddock card).

Coming to the circuit

For the race weekend the motorway tolls are free for riders (class 5 bikes) from Friday 14th at 10:00 to Monday 17th April at 10:00. 

  • Autoroute A11: between the Saint-Arnoult toll and Le Mans, between Angers and Le Mans and between Angers and Nantes,
  • Autoroute A81: between Le Mans and La Gravelle (Vitré),
  • Autoroute A85: between Angers and Restigné,
  • Autoroute A28: between Saint-Christophe-sur-le-Nais and Le Mans and between Alençon and Le Mans. 

Nine “Relais Motards” will be installed on the way to the 24 Heures Motos on the initiative of the “Fédération Française des Motards en Colère,” the department management of the Orne territories and GIRM. The opening hours will vary depending on the places and whether it’s on the way there or the way back. 
Free services will be offered on the spot (variable depending on the sites): hot and cold drinks, food, minor repairs, visor cleaning, oil level checked, chain greased, tyres inflated, message board, first aid, etc.

Parking

The guarded park reserved exclusively for motorbikes will be installed in the exhibition Centre (1 Avenue Parc des Expositions, 72100 Le Mans). It is free (guarded) and open from 08:30 on Friday 14th April until 17:00 on Sunday 16th April. 
In partnership with Bikerbox, the helmet lockers in the guarded park for motorbikes will be free. Another one will be installed at the North entry to the circuit (price 5 €).

For the first time and for the comfort of all riders, AlloPneus.com will be present at the exit of the guarded park for motorbikes to check tyre pressures so that everybody can set off in complete safety. 

Cars can park in Parking 19 (inside the circuit). The price is 18 € per vehicle from Thursday 13th at 09:00 to Sunday 16th April at 17:00. Attention: the number of places is limited. 

 

Welcome and information for spectators

You can enjoy the big motorbike festival to the full by remaining on the spot thanks to the number of welcome zones available for the 24 Heures Motos. These include the Maison Blanche and Tertre Rouge secured zones for which there is a charge, the not-to-be-missed Concentration and the two free welcome zones in the Blue and Red parks for motorbikes.

Spectators can visit the many boutiques and sales outlets including the official Le Mans 24-Hours boutiques inside the circuit to buy souvenirs. 

Numerous food outlets will provide dishes and menus for everybody’s tastes including the Pizzeria Trattoria which has an eat-your-fill pizza menu for 18,50 €. This year newcomers include the sushi bar, oyster bar and wine bar. 
 

The Club ACO will provide several privileged reception venues for this year’s 24 Heures Motos. Club members will be welcomed in their usual venues, the Georges Durand (T17) and ACO (T18) grandstands to enjoy the race in privileged conditions, as well as in the Club lounges which have a private terrace with an unmatched view on the track.
Exclusive free guided visits will be organised by volunteer members of the ACO de la Sarthe departmental Commission. They will last 45 minutes giving visitors the opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at the circuit and in the race.  
Spectators who are not ACO members will be able to join during the 24 Heures Motos. Reserved spaces will be installed at the North Entrance, behind the Durand grandstand as well as in the official Le Mans 24-Hours boutique.

The information point in the northern end of the 24 Heures Motos village will provide full information relating to the 24 Heures Motos from a practical point of view as well as classifications and times during the race.     

So no time to lose and no more excuses: come and take part in the big motorbike festival in the best possible conditions!
