Entries for the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours closed on Monday 5th February. The selection committee met in secret on Wednesday 7th February and the results of its deliberations will be known in a few hours.
A reminder: because of their results in the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hours and the 2017-2018 Le Mans-type championships, 10 teams representing a possible entry of 13 cars have been invited to take part in the blue-riband event in June. While 60 places are allocated you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out the names of the other 47 cars that will be at the start at 15:00 on Saturday 16th June.
During this conference the entries for the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season will also be revealed. They will be given an automatic invitation for the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours.
