The fun fair
The fun fair, which is a must, awaits fans in the Raccordement between the Bugatti and the Maison Blanche circuits. The traditional 32-metre high Big Wheel that towers over the track will also be installed in this spot.
Friday 14th to Sunday 16th April
Fan Zone
The ACO will install a new fan zone on the central square in the village to enable endurance bike racing enthusiasts as well as newcomers to the sport to slip into the skin and the riding suit of a participant in the 24 Heures Motos.
There will be four workshops to help spectators immerse themselves in the race. These include a fun course open to everybody so that they can feel the thrills provided by bike racing. Numerous other activities will also be available in this fan zone with Turbo Kick Power and Stunt demonstrations, Facebook Live, etc.
Lady Bike – The motorbike seen through female eyes
Lady Bike was a big success in 2016 and this venue entirely devoted to women will be installed again for 2017!
They can choose from several activities in this venue: the beauty universe with its activities and make-up services, hairdressing, hand care, a relaxation zone, an exhibition of motorbikes with feminine lines and several other surprises in preparation.
To pursue the female take on the motorbike even further, a riding zone will be reserved for them on the International Kart Circuit with free first-time rides on 125 cc bikes and advice to raise awareness of the dangers of the road and road safety.
Exhibition devoted to the Japanese at Le Mans
Spectators will be able to discover the incredible story of famous Japanese motorbikes that have won at Le Mans. For the 40th staging of the 24 Heures Motos the ACO is proud to present unique models with which everybody is familiar. In a unique setting this exhibition will retrace the history of the four major makes that have won the race.
The Pub - Musical entertainment
The pub has been a not-to-be-missed rendezvous since 2013 and a great place to meet and mingle. It is situated opposite the Restaurant de la Courbe and will open its doors on Saturday 15th April. Musical entertainment all day and far into the night!
Friday 14th April
The traditional discovery of the pits and the paddock : 18:30 – 20:00
This one of the most popular rendezvous at the 24 Heures Motos where fans can meet the riders, collect autographs and pose with the champions who spontaneously join in the fun.
Motor Show with the Monster Trucks as the highpoint - From 20:30
For 1h 30m the crowd will be able to see the stuntmen from the Motor Show Cascadeur who will invade the pits straight for a breath-taking demonstration, as well as a unique monster Trucks Spectacle with extraordinary machines on the Bugatti circuit. The grandstands which line this part of the track can be accessed for free (except T17 and T18).
Saturday 15th April
Activities in the village : 09:00 to 12:50 and again from 15:30 to 20:30
The 24 Heures Motos village will roar into life on Saturday 15th April at 09:00 with the mixes of a DJ to get what promises to be an excitement-packed day off to a flying start!
Many other activities will be arranged to enable you to enjoy the big motorbike festival to the full.
The different exhibitors in the village will put on several high-octane displays on their stands, in particular the manufacturers who are planning spectacular demonstrations!
The public will also be able to discover the Turbo Kick Power, a sport consisting of movements taken from boxing, aerobics and the martial arts.
The ACO, as connected to the social networks as ever, will arrange numerous Facebook Live rendezvous from the village to go and meet the public and the fans.
Air guitar competitions
This year the 24 Heures Motos will be the theatre of the not-to-be-missed Air Guitar competition. Those taking part will have to persevere throughout the day if they want to qualify for the final on the concert stage. They will do battle in four 20-minute sessions before the semi-final and the final in which the best eight will take part.
The 2016 champion, Nicolas Marlois, is putting his title up for grabs and is aiming for a second win!
Motor Show: 11:00 to 12:15 and 17:30 to 18:45
To extend the pleasure or to catch up on what you’ve missed, Friday’s motor show will be repeated on the Maison Blanche circuit.
Concerts: From 20:30
Following on from the Air Guitar final, Dirty Deep, Matamatah and then a DJ will perform on the 24 Heures Motos stage installed in the heart of the village opposite the restaurant de la Courbe. An evening with a real Pop-Rock ambience that’s not to be missed organised in partnership with RTL2 Le Mans, the official 24 Heures Motos radio.
After a nine-year break the Matamatah Group announced last September that it was making a comeback in 2017 with a tour all over France. While numerous concerts are already sold out, Matamatah and the ACO hit the headlines by announcing the only date in the Sarthe at the 24 Heures Motos.
